今回のLive DVD＆Blu-rayは、2枚組の仕様で発売、Disc1には16年12月3日に行われた「MOTION 2016 CHRISTMAS CONCERT ~ Silent Night with Nicholas Edwards 」の模様を余すところなく収録。Disc2には16年4月2日に京都劇場で行われた「Motion 2016 Spring Concert」、７月８日〜9日にかけてEX THEATER 六本木にて行われた「Motion 2016 Summer Concert」、10月16日に大阪メルパルクで行われた「Motion 2016 Autumn Concert」の3つのライブをまとめたダイジェスト収録。さらには各公演の写真をふんだんに盛り込んだブックレット、オリジナルポストカード（全3種類の内ランダムで１種）を封入。2016年、まさしく飛躍の一年となったニコラス・エドワーズの全てが詰まった作品となっている。

Let me introduce myself！
I began singing after entering university, and got more and more into it until I came to have this ambition to be a professional singer.
While in university, the death of my friend was a strong turning point in my life, and it made me think about the meaning my own life and purpose. One day, I participated in a gospel music workshop and it influenced me in so many ways. eventually converted to Christianity within the year, not only superficially but as a way of life.
Though I was seriously considering pursuing my dream to be a singer, I decided to pursue another interest instead. So I acquired an English teaching license and started working at high schools. But after three years of working as a full time teacher, I felt that teaching English at high schools to prepare students for the war-like entrance exams is not what I truly want to do.
I wanted to be a part of something deeper in the education field, so I ended up going to graduate school to study theology at Doshisha Univ, and in three years, received a license to teach the Bible at Japanese high schools.
In 2009, I had the chance to visit some cemetery slum communities and dumping areas, which was a paradigm shift for me, especially as a Christian.
Yuji Hara (Chief Director of our NPO) and I started study tours to the Philippines where we offered similar life changing opportunities for others. We ended up founding an NPO called FCS development International. (→http://www.fcsdi.or.jp/ : Japanese only)
Teaching English and the Bible at high schools and universities, and helping at the NPO, encouraged me, my heart and spirit, to sing again. They lead me to encounters with some wonderful Japanese singers & songwriters, such as Izumi Kojima, and my vocal teacher Jaye Kohyama.
I followed what I believe my spirit's been telling me to do: Singing. I started writing my own songs and singing in West Japan for about 3 years. I then made the decision to move from West Japan to Tokyo, to pursue what my spirit has been telling me.
Now I am a back-up vocalist for Nicholas Edwards (www.nicholas-edwards.jp), one of the most followed American singers performing in Japanese and English, and Iwata Mitsuo (twitter.com/kanata6info?lang=ja), a leading voice actor and singer.
I sing monthly at G’s Bar in Akasaka, Tokyo, with Takahiro Hosai, a soulful guitarist and recording engineer (www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkQRBdZltug) Chizuru Segawa, talented award-winning guitar player (fooanreo.wix.com/segawachizuru) .
One of my passion is introducing some of the lesser-known Japanese masterpieces, including some older songs, through singing in English and Japanese so people all over the world can be encouraged by their "messages".
Above all,
I do hope to show what Love is, and become a source of encouragement for others on life's journey, and it's all for Jesus.
